Horsley, the Collector of Cuddapah district, who choose this spot for his summer residence. The place is derived from his name W.D.Horsley. It is situated at an altitude of 1,265 meters from the sea level. The plant life here is plentiful and it’s an attentive stare for tourists and consists of some of the rare and elite trees like Eucalyptus, Jacaranda, Gulmohar and Allamanda. This Hill is a natural home for the Chenchu Tribes. Many wild animals are found at this place like Bears, Wild Dogs and Jungle Fowl.
The typical flower of the Andhra region which is fond in this is Sampangi Flower. Horsley Hills is well-known for the Pungannur Cows which have high Milk yielding capacity.

Araku Valley is about 115 kilometers from Vishakhapatnam District which is attractive and wonderful. It is situated just 26 kilometers from the sea level. The thick forest that surrounds the Araku Valley gives an attractive tour and also some of the exciting discovery into the caves present there.
